CityTex in brief:

Established in 2016, CityTex is a garment company based on the Yunus social business model, which has helped more than 95 women and young girls in Central Albania to find employment and a sense of community. CityTex is an Albanian company located in the administrative unit of Bradashesh in the suburban area of Elbasani municipality, 26 km in distance from the center of Tirana, capital of Albania and 62 km in distance from Durres city, the main port of Albania.

CityTex is focused on garment production offering our partners a wide array of products including but not limited to: military uniforms, pants, t-shirts, polos, workwear and fabric bags, mostly in CMT (Cut – Make – Trim) system.

CityTex operates in a 4200 m2 premise including: production areas (preparatory and sewing area), warehouses, as well as cutting, finishing, controlling and packaging areas. We have employed up to 220 employees and aim to increase this number to 300 employees in the upcoming year.

Through modern technology, in full accordance with the client’s requests, and with an efficient organization of workflow combined with a motivated and specialized working staff, CityTex Company is ready to face any challenge of foreign markets, based on its dynamism and diversification.

The technology commonly used in CityTex facilities involves brands like Juki, Vetron-Typical, Pfaff, Supreme, etc. We also employ a variety of different machinery including but not limited to: flat-bed machines, 2-needle machines, overlock machines (2, 3, 4 and 5 threads), pattern-automatic machines, automatic pocket-welding machines, eyelet buttonholing and various other button machines, bar-tacking and various ironing equipment’s. In total we employ more than 350 industrial sewing machines with relevant modern contemporary equipment. In the company there are installed the cutting area as well.

From the beginning of 2017, until February 2020, we have been producing workwear, uniforms and military uniforms for European markets showing professionalism and flexibility for our EU & NATO partner companies.

Since the beginning of CoVid19 pandemic, CityTex has made many adjustments in its production lines to be more prepared in case our partners need to produce one-use-only clothes. Therefore, we have opened a new branch in northern Albania where we produce mainly this new line of products.

Currently, CityTex is producing military uniforms for NATO, and for EU member states.
