CMT – Production in Elbasan – Albania 

  • CityTex located in Elbasan, Albania is a private enterprise specializing in CMT production of professional wear and military uniforms. Our company also retains the professional, and proven capacity to produce trousers, skirts and other clothes wear for foreign companies such as in Germany and Italy.

Company history:

  • 2002 – We began with consulting, logistics and sales of Industrial production lines for textile and leather production to very well-known brands such as Juki, Vetron-Typical, Pfaff, Brother, Pegasus, Supreme, etc.
  • 2011 – The AMA-DRESS company was founded which went on to serve as a co-founder and shareholder of CityTex.
  • 2016 –CityTex  was founded through new investments in clothes wear production through a joint venture between Yunus Social Business and CityTex with the guidance of the well experienced Pfaff Office Albania in Tirana, Albania

These new investments were focused on these main points:

  • New German industrial & professional cutting machinery.
  • Completely new industrial sewing and automated production with German and Japanese technology.
  • New production lines of clothes wear (jeans, cotton-based clothes, and trousers).
  • 2017 – CityTex reached the capacity of 2 complete production lines and 1 production line for training purposes; approximately 100 employees; and daily production capabilities of 500 – 1000 units of clothes wear per work shift.
  • 2020 – CityTex began a new project centered around styles popular during the pandemic such as woven and non-woven material with which we were able to scale production up to 3000 units per work shift. Since the beginning of Covid-19 Pandemic, CityTex has made many adjustments in its production lines to be more prepared for scenarios when our clients need one-use-only materials. This has enabled us to open a new branch in northern Albania where we produce mainly this new line of products.
  • 2022 – CityTex returns to normalcy, producing 5-pockets & Chino’s trousers for Italian brands. In this same year production focus was also set to classic trousers for Italian police.
  • 2023– CityTex began producing camouflage military trousers for the NATO army, which is currently our specialty.

CityTex has a capacity of 4 complete production lines and 1 production line for training purposes; approximately 220 employees; and daily production capabilities of 500 – 1000 units of clothes wear per work shift. We have German cutting machinery, completely new industrial sewing and automated production with German and Japanese technology and new production lines of clothes wear (jeans, cotton-based clothes, and trousers).

Administration:

Export / Import
Our company owns a license for temporary import-export of CMT work and all the necessary banking guarantees, as well as many years’ experiences in this field and resources for customs formalities and custom bonded warehousing.

Production:

CityTex is a company specializing in professional wear, uniforms and workwear. At the same time our company is also specialized for the production of trousers, skirts, jeans and cotton material with a capacity of 500 to 1000 garment units per shift. In total our actual capacity of production is 1000 to 2000 garment units per day (for two shifts). Approximately 220 employers are engaged in the production process as well as technical personnel with many years of experience in production. 

Embroidery services: 

CityTex at first successfully cooperated with German company C. Wefers from Krefeld, Germany and with Logwin Solutions Stip, Macedonia in order to jump-start design, embroidery, sequences, nail-heads, transfer-prints and other services in order to add additional options to our catalogs.

Since November 2016 based on the joint investment with an Albanian local Company for embroidery technology, we have successfully continued these kinds of services fulfilling our customers’ every need.

The embroidery department is now established in Durres and has up to 8 machines with a total of up to 50 heads of embroidery and other additional equipment.

Washing and garment dye: 

CityTex at first was involved in the washing and the dying processes of the garments in cooperation with the Deep-Wash Ltd. in Durres-Albania. The laundries have a very modern setup, with Stonewash, tinting, enzyme wash, as well as all the common garment wash treatments.

Special processes such as used-scrapping, used-spray, synthetics resin coatings, bake, tinting, polyester and cotton crash, as well as other methods can be employed on request.

There are applied auxiliaries exclusively certified by the OEKO-TEX standard in full accordance with established standards.
