CMT – Production in Elbasan – Albania

  • CityTex Elbasan, Albania is a private company that is operating in the business of CMT production and now in the moment the company produces professional wear and military uniforms as well. In the same time have professional capacity to produce trousers, skirts etc, for companies from the Western market, such as companies from Germany, Italy, etc.
  • The company is equipped and update with the news technology and has a capacity of approx. 500 pieces (professional & work wear) per daily shift.

Company history

  • 2002 – Begin with consulting, logistic and selling of Industrial production lines for textile and leather industrial production, very well-known brands, like as PFAFF, PEGASUS, VETRON-TYPICAL, JUKI, ZOJE, etc.
  • 2011 – Born AMA-DRESS (like as co-founder and shareholder)
  • 2016 – Was born CityTex, new investment in clothes production, like as joint-venture between Yunus Social Business and CityTex, based on excellent experience of Pfaff office Albania from Tirana – Albania, such is especially professional wear, uniforms and work-wear as well.

This new investment based on these main points:

  •  Investing in Cutting technologies (German technology).
  •  Investing in complete industrial sewing and automation of the production with Hi-Tech technology (German and Japan technology).
  •  Firstly, starting with production of trousers (jeans and cotton – working program and jeans trousers as well).
  • 2017 – CityTex have actually 2 complete production lines, plus 1 production line for practical learning, approx. 100 employees and have daily production approx. 500 – 1.000 units per work-shift (or/and approx. 1.000 –2.000 units per 2 work-shifts).
  • 2020 – CityTex begin new project, based on pandemic atmosphere, like as overall, woven non-woven material, with a capacity approx. 3.000 units per work-shift. Since the beginning of CoVid19 Virus, CityTex have made some adjustments in our production lines to be more prepared in case when our partners need to produce one-use-only clothes. Therefore, we have opened a new branch in the northern Albania where we produce mainly this new type of products.
  • 2022 – CityTex return in normal life, producing 5-pockets & Chino’s trousers for Italian brands.
    In the same year production focus is and to classic trousers for Italian police – Carabinieri.
  • 2023– and inthe following CityTex is producing camouflage military trousers for NATO army, which is our speciality.

Export / Import

Our company owns a license for temporary import-export for CMT work and all the necessary banking guaranties, many years’ experience in this field as well as recourses for customs formalities and custom bonded warehousing.

Production

CityTex is a Company specialized for professional wear, uniforms and work wear. In the same time our Company is specialized and automated for production of trousers and skirts as well (men and ladies), from jeans and cotton material with capacity of 500 –1.000 garment units per day (in one shift only). In total our actual capacity of production is 1.000 – 2.000 garment units per day (for two shifts). Actually approx. 120 employers are engaged in the production process as well as technical personnel, with long terms experience in the production, alternated harmoniously based on each model production into one or/and two production shifts.

Embroidery services

CityTex Company in the beginning, realized successfully cooperation with German company C. Wefers from Krefeld, Germany and with Logwin Solutions Stip, Macedonia, started with design, embroidery, sequences and nail-heads, transfer-prints allover and other services for adding additional values of the collections.

Since November 2016 and ongoing, based on the joint investment with an Albanian local Company for embroidery technology, continue these kinds of services successfully, for everything which customers need.

The embroidery department now is establish in Durres and has up to 8 machines with total up to 50 heads of embroidery and other additional equipments.

Washing and garment dye:

CityTex Company in the beginning was performing the washing and the dying of the garments in cooperation with the company Deep-Wash shpk in Durres-Albania The laundries have a very modern machines setup, both Stonewash, tinting, enzymwash, as well as all common garment wash treatments can be performed.

Special effects such as used-scrapping, used-spray, synthetics resin coatings, bake, tinting as well as polyester and cotton crash and other effects can be realized on request

There are applied auxiliaries exclusively certified by the OEKO-TEX standard 100% in accordance with established standards.
